Expert VIN DeCoder ®

Expert VIN DeCoder ® “DeCodes” the 17 character Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) for cars, pick-up trucks, vans, and utility vehicles which were intended for sale in the United States and Canada. The 17 character VIN has been in use in the United States and Canada since the 1981 model year.

In addition to the manufacturer’s information, this program provides additional information on the engine’s torque, horsepower, and fuel line pressure.

Simply start the program, enter the 17 characters of the VIN, and press. You will get two screens of information which can then be sent to a printer. That is all there is to it.

This program provides VIN data on over 25,000 automobiles, vans, utility vehicles, and pick-up trucks.

The program is DOS based, and requires a 3.5 inch HD floppy drive.

It will run in a DOS window under MS-Windows 3.x/95/98/Me/2000/XP or NT, IBM’s OS/2 (2.0 and Warp), Linux, and Apple/MacIntosh systems with the appropriate DOS conversion software, as well as directly under DOS 3.1++ (MSDOS, PCDOS, DRDOS/NovellDOS).

This program costs $575.00 (U.S.) plus Shipping & Handling. Programs shipped to a California Address also require California Sales Tax to be paid.
