4N6XPRT StifCalcs puts the NHTSA Crash Test database on your own 32 or 64 bit MS-Windows computer. Through the use of the program you have access to the NHTSA Crash Test data without the requirement of Internet access.
Researching crush stiffness values for autos offline was once a very difficult task, but 4N6XPRT StifCalcs makes the NHTSA Crash Test database available on your personal computer without the need for an online connection!
Now you can access the NHTSA Crash Test data and develop A-B-G and Crush Factor stiffness values 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You won’t need to be constantly plugged into the web just to continue your data collection. Our updated software will give you everything you need to work from home, your favorite cafe, or even in the most desolate of areas.
Working late night hours for an early morning trial or deposition appearance doesn’t need to keep you chained to the office. You have the data available to you to prepare from virtually anywhere.
Are you not sure how to calculate the A-B-G stiffness values? The manual gives you the formulas and method used for the calculations made within the program. The program will automatically calculate a range of stiffness values for front, side, and rear impact tests as long as the tests contain sufficient data to complete the calculations.
Are your tests missing data for the width measurement (front & rear) and/or vehicle weight? We will automatically provide published data so that the calculations can be completed.
Are you unable to find tests for your desired vehicle? We allow you to search the database based upon a wheelbase range, length range, weight range, body style, year range, and manufacturer. You can create your own vehicle classification, then pick from the available tests to find stiffness values that can work for your given collision analysis, or print a summary report containing all the tests with stiffness values for your classification, and use the Test Summary showing all applicable tests, rather than any one specific test alone.
This program works natively in a 64-bit operating system as a WINDOWS program (i.e. – Windows 7, 8, 10)
CLASS VEHICLE – If there are no applicable tests for the vehicle and impact surface that you need Stiffness Values for (i.e. – 2020 Lexus LC 500 – FRONT), one way you can get exemplar Stiffness Values is to create a CLASS vehicle. In this case, look for tests for the FRONT of PASSENGER CARS (Specifically, COUPES). This can be done in the 4N6XPRT StifCalcs program using the ADVANCED SEARCH tool/tab. The representative Stiffness Values obtained in this manner will be more specific to your subject vehicle than the tables that have been historically used and taught will be.
FORCE BALANCE – The alternative to creating a class of vehicle is to compute the stiffness values based upon the data available from the colliding vehicle, and the crush measurements which have been taken for both vehicles. This is known as a FORCE BALANCE calculation.
The 4N6XPRT StifCalcs program includes a Force Balance calculation module which allows the calculation of a complete range of stiffness values for the vehicle in question, based upon crash tests done on the other vehicle. We also offer a Force Balance calculation as part of our services for those who do not own the StifCalcs program.
Easy to use, reliable, complete, convenient, these are only some of the reasons 4N6XPRT StifCalcs is a necessary addition to any accident reconstruction software library.
