The newest release of Expert AutoStats incorporates
dimensional data on over 43,000 automobiles, vans, utility vehicles, and pick-up
trucks intended for sale in the United States. A limited number of models
intended for sale elsewhere are also included.
While the original program is DOS based, a Windows GUI
interface was completed in 2010 - and both interfaces are available. A USB drive
port is required for installing from physical media. We also offer electronic
delivery through email and a download link.
It will also run in a DOS window under
MS-Windows 3.x/95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP and VISTA, IBM's OS/2 (2.0 and Warp), Linux,
and Apple/MacIntosh systems with the appropriate DOS conversion software, as
well as directly under DOS 3.1++ (MSDOS, PCDOS, DRDOS/NovellDOS). The Full
Windows version of the program will run natively under the Microsoft 64-bit
Operating Systems.
The software is updated once per year, within
the March-April time frame. When necessary we correct prior year information
while also providing the new model data.
Most of the vehicles contained in this program
were manufactured for sale in the United States and Canada. However, many
European and Asian models have the same dimensions. If accurate data is provided
to us from our partners we can instantly add these models to the system.
This program costs $675 (U.S.) plus Shipping &
Handling. Programs physically shipped to a California Address also require
California Sales Tax to be paid.
The programs are licensed to a single registered user . They may be installed on Three (3) single station/single user computers computers concurrently. Installation on a network computer for corporate/entity wide use at multiple locations is a violation of the licensing. An example of the three installations for a private consultant would be -
1 at the office/workplace
1 at the home of the registered user
1 on a portable/laptop to be used in the field or in court {by the registered user}
The Registered User may be the owner or an employee of that owner, so long as only one person can access the program at a time.
